Role Overview
- Join the British Business Bank’s Direct Equity team
- Invest directly into high-growth, VC-backed UK technology businesses
- Work across sectors including Core AI, Deeptech, Fintech, and Vertical AI
- Analyse investment opportunities
- Undertake due diligence
- Build financial models
- Support transaction execution
- Monitor portfolio performance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external investors
Requirements
- Experience executing venture capital or growth equity investments
- Commercial judgement
- Analytical capability
- Relationship-building skills
- Experience within Deeptech, AI, B2B SaaS, or Fintech
- Exposure to startups, venture capital private equity or investment banking environments
