About this role
Role Overview
Boost the engineering capacity within the radar team and focus on compliance and certification.
Assess ongoing certifications like the US certifications for MAX and military standards testing for IRIS and kick-start the ones to come.
Make a plan and execute the tests necessary to ensure future compliance.
Facilitate smooth product development and manage proper pre-compliance testing.
Enable global market access (GMA) for products by ensuring compliance with varying requirements in target markets.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical field.
Proven experience in managing relationships and projects with external parties, such as accredited test houses, NRTLs, regulators, or specialized engineering consultants.
Solid technical background in at least one major testing discipline: Environmental, Safety, Radio.
Extensive experience with NRTLs /UL approval processes and North American electrical safety standards or thorough understanding of FCC regulations.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex norms into actionable engineering advice.
