Role Overview
- Design reliable, high-performance mechanical systems
- Understand and analyze clients' technical and operational requirements
- Attend client meetings and technical reviews
- Contribute to the preparation of service proposals
- Identify issues and opportunities for improvement
- Design or optimize mechanical equipment and systems
- Participate in preliminary and detailed design
- Perform sizing and engineering calculations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible
- Minimum 16 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and industrial projects
- Strong understanding of field conditions and operational challenges
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence
- Autonomy, technical leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Advanced French and functional English
- Design software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or equivalent)
- Calculation tools (Mathcad, advanced Excel, specialized software)
- Project management tools (an asset)
