The Technical Lead manages and directs daily activities supporting design, construction, startup, and operations/maintenance of complex high-technology systems or projects.
Provides expert technical opinions, performs independent assessments, and delivers recommendations to support engineering, design, and construction efforts.
Supports deployment, configuration, and maintenance of containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShift.
Responsibilities include system tuning, patching, upgrades, and operational support to ensure performance and reliability.
Involves troubleshooting deployment, configuration, and runtime issues, while coordinating with technical teams to maintain system stability, compliance, and performance.
Mentors staff and provides guidance on best practices for container platform operations.
Interfaces with management and customer representatives, develops and enforces work standards, and communicates organizational goals and policies.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Engineering, Science, or Business Management
9 years of directly applicable experience in a specialized technical field
Recognized expertise in containerized platforms and high-technology systems
Experience managing and supporting design, construction, startup, or operations/maintenance activities
Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift deployment, administration, and operations
Experience installing and supporting Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) software
Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and platform operations
Experience with Linux system administration
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
