Compliance Specialist

Role Overview

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a Compliance Management System
• Prepare for internal and external audits
• Apply regulatory requirements (e.g., BaFin, GwG
• German Anti-Money Laundering Act, GDPR) and support projects implementing new legal requirements
• Further develop internal anti-money laundering policies, and conduct trainings and compliance checks
• Assess and track fraud cases and derive sustainable corrective measures
• Ensure compliance with data protection requirements and maintain records of processing activities

Requirements

• Degree in Business Law, Business Informatics, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in compliance roles
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services environment (MaRisk, GwG, GDPR)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues clearly
• High initiative, independent working style and strong team orientation
• Analytical thinking, flexibility and a structured approach to new challenges
• Fluent written and spoken German and good command of English
