About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Agronomist
Drive agronomic strategy, product adoption, and revenue growth across the Business Unit
Partner closely with BU leadership to align agronomy execution with business priorities
Build a high-performing, collaborative team
Lead a team of Seed Sales Agronomists, Crop Protection Sales Agronomist, and Market Development Agronomists
Develop and execute agronomic strategies aligned to business priorities
Increase focus on key growth areas including CPP and seed portfolio expansion
Support execution of account plans to grow revenue and margin
Foster collaboration across MDA, CPSA, SSA, and broader sales teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business-related field
5+ years of industry experience
Experience coaching, training and executing technical agronomic decisions
Understanding of seed crop growth and development and physiology for core crops relevant to geography
Ability to create working relationships internally and externally while leading through influence at all levels in an organization
Ability to make sound and timely decisions
Experience demonstrating agility and leading/adapting quickly to change
Must have current and valid state driver’s license
Ability to travel up to 50%, some evenings and weekends; may require working long hours during peak seasons
Prefer candidate to live in the Central or Eastern US but not required
