Lead the management of assigned commodities for the North American region
Establish and implement short and long term strategies for continued cost reduction and value improvement
Negotiate all major contracts and agreements within the category and deliver the best value to JELD-WEN
Take ownership of an assigned commodity and deliver on agreed upon KPIs for that category
Develop and implement approved category strategies that actively search for performance improvement and cost reduction opportunities

5+ years of advanced education and/or relevant work experience, or equivalent depth of experience in a sourcing role within a high-volume manufacturing environment
Strong background in global sourcing with the ability to negotiate complex contracts and drive value across the supply chain
3+ years of experience managing medium-to-large spend portfolios (approximately $50MM+)
Demonstrated experience with complex contract negotiation
