About this role
Role Overview
Build and lead a combined product management and engineering organization of 200+ professionals
Cultivate a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, and customer obsession
Own and evolve the technical roadmap for Autodesk's commerce platform
Drive annual planning processes resulting in a 1–3 year platform strategy
Own the full technology stack for .com and commerce
Lead a high-performing engineering organization responsible for distributed systems and microservices
Drive platform reliability, scalability, and security standards
Champion engineering best practices including CI/CD and API-first design principles
Partner with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital, and Customer Success teams
Engage external technology partners to extend platform capabilities
Define, track, and report against KPIs and OKRs for commerce platform health
Attract, develop, and retain exceptional product and engineering talent
Model inclusive leadership and contribute to diversity and belonging goals
Requirements
15+ years of experience in enterprise technology
5+ years leading combined product and engineering organizations in a senior leadership capacity
Proven track record building large-scale commerce, payments, or transactional platform systems
Deep technical credibility engaging engineering teams on architecture and system design
Experience owning systems that touch pricing engines, subscription management, entitlements, or payment processing
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including SOX, PCI-DSS, and GDPR
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Proficiency with agile engineering principles, platform thinking, and API-first architecture patterns
Experience leading complex technology transformations
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required
