Conduct regular evaluations of the organization's programs and services to ensure they meet or exceed established quality standards
Complete service billing, note, and file reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis within various agency programs
Support the Associate Director with the completion of annual reports, satisfaction surveys, and other CQI projects
Chair or co-chair agency committees tasked with monitoring agency-wide safety and risk management, file audits, and others as needed
Stay current with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to services for people with developmental disabilities and mental health concerns
Support agency staff and QA department with audits and accreditation visits from external bodies
Track and report upon compliance items related to emergency drills and fire marshal compliance for all agency sites
Perform in-person inspections of agency sites, including group homes and day program sites, on a recurring basis
Maintain a system for tracking and reporting quality-related data
Conduct training sessions for staff members on quality standards, compliance, and best practices
Maintain detailed records related to quality assurance efforts, audits, and corrective actions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, healthcare administration)
1 – 3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or a related field, or a desire to learn
Strong project management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
