Role Overview
- Manage a team of Systems Engineers supporting the Channel
- Work with pre-sales team and partner, customer focused skills
- Develop technical talent and provide leadership
- Ensure training for new hires and uphold core values of F5
- Collaborate with Channel and Sales management
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff development
Requirements
- 10+ years’ related industry experience in a dynamic high-tech environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 + years’ experience leading teams
- Good understanding of technology drivers in the current market, like Cloud, CI/DC, DevOps, Networking, Cyber Security with focus on L7 Security and orchestration tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and negotiation skills
- Ability to navigate and influence in matrix organization
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technologies and to evangelize F5’s message internally and with customers and partners
