Capture technical requirements and derive technical specifications for baseband physical layer functionality.
Participate in System Design and System Architecture tasks.
Participate in Physical Layer modeling, prototyping and design verification testing, with emphasis on baseband algorithmic implementation and assessment.
Perform bit accurate modelling and generate implementation architectures for the target device.
Implement algorithms in System on Chips (SoCs) and/or in processors, following established workflows.
Participate in Design Verification testing activities in the lab and in field trials.
Prepare appropriate documentation as required.
Requirements
M.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, with justifiable knowledge on digital wireless communications theory and applications.
Established knowledge in Digital Signal Processing and/or Baseband Modem algorithms and structures.
Experience with Software Defined Radio architectures and platforms.
Experience in C/C++ programming for embedded applications.
Established bit accurate modelling methodology for algorithmic signal processing blocks.
Experience in hardware-software co-development for algorithms and protocols development.
Experience with embedded development environment such as Xilinx SDK/VITIS or Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio.
Experience in embedded development tools (e.g. JTAG emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
