Role Overview
Apply manufacturing and process engineering principles to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operations.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities using structured problem‑solving methods.
Troubleshoot process deviations through root cause analysis and data‑driven decision making.
Support deployment and sustainment of Manufacturing Technology standards, best practices, and SOPs.
Ensure all improvements comply with IFF EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Use manufacturing and operational data to monitor performance and optimize processes.
Support implementation and adoption of digital manufacturing and analytics tools (e.g. dashboards).
Act as a liaison between operations, engineering, and analytics teams, translating business needs into analytical requirements.
Deliver engineering and digital improvement projects and collaborate with regional Manufacturing Technology teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, preferably within the chemical or process industry
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands‑on experience working with large datasets and industrial data
Experience delivering digital and analytics solutions for manufacturing or operations stakeholders (e.g. process optimization, performance monitoring, decision support)
Practical experience with relational databases and data querying (e.g. SQL); exposure to distributed or cloud‑based data platforms is a plus
3+ years of project delivery experience, working in Waterfall and/or Agile environments, with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams
Experience acting as a bridge between business, operations, and analytics teams
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
Strong and effective communication skill in English, both verbal and written.
