Coordinate or manage a team of Civil Structural engineers for delivery of technical design work on complex multi-disciplinary projects
Responsible for producing and reviewing technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations, and scopes of work
Provide technical input into project design deliverables for Civil Structural aspects
Collaborate with client, operational, project, or service activities within your immediate team and other related teams
Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues and help grow Civil Structural Engineering capabilities within the local team
Work independently with minimal technical guidance
Provide technical support for bid proposals
Adhere to quality assurance standards in design including check and review of work
Requirements
A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
Chartered or Incorporated Civil/Structural Engineer
Proven experience in coordinating or managing a Civil Structural engineering design delivery team for a design consultancy including within a multi-disciplinary environment
Strong knowledge and practical experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures
Practical knowledge of current Eurocodes design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM Regulations
Knowledge of other international design codes such as American codes is also beneficial but not required
Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance
Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools such as Tekla, Robot, or STAAD
Experience in nuclear or defence projects is beneficial but not required
Experience in dynamic or seismic design is beneficial but not required
