Deliver hands-on operational support to franchise nurseries, with a clear focus on occupancy growth, customer experience, family retention, and business performance.
Conduct nursery visits under the direction of the Head of Franchise Operations, carrying out operational reviews covering enrolment strategy, customer experience, occupancy performance, and operational effectiveness.
Support franchisees and nursery managers in implementing action plans to improve occupancy, customer experience, operational consistency, and commercial performance.
Assist with the operational onboarding and launch of new franchise locations, ensuring a smooth transition from development to opening day.
Coach franchisees and their teams on the effective use of operational systems, tools, and online platforms to improve day-to-day execution.
Monitor and report on nursery performance indicators, occupancy trends, customer feedback, and operational observations — escalating concerns and opportunities appropriately.
Uphold Banana Moon brand standards and operational expectations across assigned nurseries, providing practical support and guidance where improvements are needed.
Maintain accurate records of nursery visits, action plans, follow-up activity, and operational observations to ensure clear documentation and accountability.
Contribute to the development of operational tools, templates, visit frameworks, and support resources to drive consistency across the network.
Escalate significant concerns or issues requiring specialist intervention to the Head of Franchise Operations or relevant support teams.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an early years or childcare setting, with solid working knowledge of nursery operations and the EYFS framework.
Demonstrable experience supporting or coaching nursery teams to improve performance, occupancy, or operational standards.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret occupancy data and business performance metrics and translate them into practical actions.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills — confident working with franchisees, nursery managers, and central teams.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple nursery relationships and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to nursery locations across the franchise network.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common digital platforms (email, scheduling tools, online reporting systems).
