Role Overview
- Review, code and post all types of accounting documents.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Processing of travel expense and credit card statements.
- Management of payment processes, including processing incoming invoices and maintaining accounts payable master data.
- Accurate and conscientious management of the entire accounting function.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in business/administration and 2–3 years' experience in accounting.
- Strong affinity for numbers and excellent accounting knowledge.
- Confident use of Google Workspace products and common accounting software such as DATEV.
- Strong organizational skills and a goal-oriented, reliable, and solution-focused approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
