Role Overview
- Managing a variety of projects, including compilations, review engagements, and tax compliance engagements
- Working collaboratively with the team to bring unique insights to clients in tax planning and compliance
- Reviewing tax returns and other related correspondence
- Managing interpersonal relationships and building team morale
- Ensuring all work is completed and documented in accordance with prescribed standards
Requirements
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience working in a professional accounting firm
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of Canadian corporate and personal income taxes
- Canadian CPA designation or equivalent
- Understanding of ASPE accounting standards
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CCH Ifirm
- Excellent organization, prioritization and project/people management skills
- Strong analytical capability and sound business sense
- Demonstrates integrity and has behaviors that build trust
- Ability to effectively develop, coach and mentor team members
- Commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people
