Role Overview
developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies that drive engagement, consideration and lead generation in support of client acquisition, development and retention goals.
overseeing all aspects of marketing, including thought leadership & content marketing, digital engagement, demand generation and events that position SPS as a leader in the market.
lead a dedicated marketing team within our broader SPS marketing organization and collaborate closely with sales, relationship management, product and thought leadership partners on program strategy, design and execution.
use data-driven insights to continuously improve performance of marketing-driven initiatives and identify marketing opportunities.
work closely with peers to determine strategic focus areas & priorities, coach and support the professional development your direct reports, and model “one team” culture.
Owning the B2B full funnel acquisition marketing strategies and outcomes
Oversee the creation and execution of cross-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, events, and content marketing.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and programs
Multiply impact of Fidelity thought leadership through coordinated cross channel execution
Oversee strategy through execution of a robust portfolio of owned events and sponsored industry conferences that serve as a channel to engage prospects and source & distribute thought leadership
Support engagement of third-party industry partners to optimize as referral channel
Monitor the effectiveness of marketing programs, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and ROI
Manage a marketing budget for paid media and industry partnerships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years’ marketing experience with a focus on acquisition/lead generation, thought leadership & content marketing and event marketing
Proven track record of developing and delivering successful marketing strategies and campaigns
You are an experienced people leader, skilled at setting strategic direction, translating into proposed initiatives and leading effective execution
You have a test-and-learn approach within structured governance and have demonstrated ability to innovate pragmatically
You are comfortable navigating highly matrixed organizations – interacting with cross functional teams that span across multiple business units
You possess strong strategic and customer focused perspective, and data-driven approach to uncovering business opportunities.
You communicate clearly and are comfortable engaging at all levels of management.
You can build alignment across stakeholders and motivate colleagues without formal authority.
You are intellectually curious and model a culture of learning and coaching.
Experience working in financial services and Series 7 preferred but not required.
