Quickly understand new software and create User Manual/Getting Started Guide/Release Notes content using Madcap Flare
Develop and document technical content that describes the software applications
Test and execute the software installation guides and report any anomalies using Jira
Participate peer reviews of documentation content for quality and accuracy
Provide weekly status and meet regularly with group
Requirements
Must have a bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience in technical writing
Knowledge of MadCap Flare
Knowledge of structured authoring, DITA, CMS, and XML
Hands on experience with MS Suite, Acrobat, Snagit, Paint, video recording tools, virtual images, Windows and Linux Operating Systems
1+ years experience as an effective technical writer in an agile development environment
1+ years of experience with common style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style and Microsoft Manual of Style
Knowledge of Jira and Confluence, or similar platforms
