SBA Credit Analyst, III

Role Overview

• Underwriting SBA 7a loans and SBA Express lines of credit
• Interact with SBA Loan Specialists and Relationship Managers
• Maintain knowledge of current SBA policy
• Read and understand various financial statements
• Prepare financial spreads for various types of businesses
• Analyze credit worthiness of commercial applicants
• Create comprehensive reports of analysis
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Participate in quality control program
• Develop and deliver training materials

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• 7-9 years banking experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Commercial banking experience preferred
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with financial spread software
