Senior Transportation Analyst

Role Overview

• Manage domestic and international shipments; maintain associated documentation
• Coordinate, schedule and manage all outbound shipments per client requirements
• Monitor and manage shipments using internal and external client systems
• Oversee all international logistics support activities including shipping and compliance with customs regulations
• Data management and integration from multiple data sources
• Communicate with business partners, internally and externally, to ensure on time delivery
• Partner with internal stakeholders, clients, brokers and carriers to build and maintain strong relationships
• Interact with internal operations team, approved carriers, brokers and/or freight forwarders to resolve issues
• Drive and complete special projects as needed
• Assist with evaluating employee performance, providing written and verbal feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
• 2 years of experience in the field of domestic and international logistics management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
• Knowledge of all modes of domestic and international transportation
• Understanding of TMS, WMS and manifesting software
• Thorough knowledge of common logistics-related documentation
