Role Overview
- Troubleshooting severity 1 & 2 Issues in the devices.
- Provide support to Network hardware/software/configuration as assigned by Monitoring Team – Timely closure of incidents.
- Quality of resolution notes
- Keep customer satisfaction high
- Reduce user downtime.
- Analyze chronic problems.
- Provide Industry best practices and Standards.
- Maintain the hardware Inventory Update to date
- Provide specialized hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution.
- Route physical problems to onsite hands and feet support staff
- Coordinate H/W Maintenance activity with 3rd Party for hardware installation, troubleshooting and fixing hardware issues
- Upgrades based on new technology/New deployments
- Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s)
- Network Capacity Planning
- Packet Capture Analysis
Requirements
- 4-5 Years of experience
- Primary Skills: Routing, Switching, Firewall (Mandatory)
- Secondary Skills: Firewall/URL Filtering/Load Balancers/Wireless (Good to Have)
- Certification expected: Knowledge of CCNA and CCNP is highly desirable.
