Role Overview
- Ensure sales goals are consistently achieved
- Recruit, hire and manage a high performing team
- Create and drive area strategy and short-term tactics to achieve business goals
- Work in the field with Regional Sales Directors
- Build strong client and cross-functional relationships
- Drive regional plan for Pharmaceutical Field team
- Organize employee training, conferences and regional meetings
- Support Regional Sales Directors in design of regional business plans
- Attend National and Regional congresses as assigned
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access regularly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS degree, preferably in life sciences or business administration)
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales management experience
- Demonstrated track record of successful pharmaceutical sales leadership
- Ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Product launch experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and mobile technologies
