Assists with the preparation of reconciliations or other Accounting-related functions.
May pull reports and/or perform balancing activities for transaction policy details to aid in the GL account reconciliations, tax filings, or other functions.
Compile, validate & distribute reports; complete analysis of audit report data to identify issues/gaps/trends.
Assists in the review, quality assurance testing, and compliance documentation related to accounting-related processes.
Gathers and analyzes business data.
Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures.
Learning the Continuous Improvement Methodology and perform the following: Performing virtual Sit-Alongs with team members, Leading team huddles, Validating and editing Standard Processes and Job Aids, and Implementing process improvements via Root Cause Problem Solving.
Other miscellaneous responsibilities and projects.

Pursuing an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and can also work around class schedule

Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to Accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, or Financial Reporting through coursework, internships, or part-time roles
Exposure to or interest in using data, automation, or AI tools (e.g., Excel, reporting tools, Copilot) to improve processes and efficiency is a plus
Familiarity with accounting systems or financial tools is a plus.
