Senior Manager, Product Development – Seasonal

Role Overview

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle across seasonal categories from concept to commercialization.
• Own development strategies for Walmart Brands supporting assortment goals, customer expectations, speed-to-market, quality, and financial targets.
• Drive decisions related to specifications, costing, RFQ processes, sampling, supplier selection, and development timelines.
• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Supplier teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
• Build and manage seasonal product roadmaps while proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions.
• Drive operational excellence through scalable processes, simplified ways of working, supplier accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Proven expertise in product lifecycle management and product commercialization within retail environments.
• Strong creative and trend interpretation capabilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience in supplier negotiations and global sourcing collaboration.
• Proficiency in analyzing consumer insights, retail analytics, and trend analysis.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
• Data analytics and storytelling capabilities.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience.
