Role Overview
- Participate in and supervise multiple tax engagements
- Contribute to the delivery of compliance services and innovative tax planning ideas
- Apply understanding of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax
- Prepare and review U.S. corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients
- Prepare and review U.S. income tax provisions for public and private companies
- Research U.S. federal and state tax issues, draft technical memoranda
- Develop tax planning recommendations and implementation approaches
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Identify enhancements to client service and support additional initiatives
- Leverage technology for efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate effectively and supervise team members
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in US Tax
- Completion of the US CPA designation and/or US Enrolled Agent certification or active pursuit of either credential
- Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership abilities
- A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver quality work within tight deadlines
- A process-oriented approach to work and excellent documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
