Lead a supply chain team supporting Fleet Chief Office and in-service airline customers.
Ensure integration and collaboration with stakeholders, including Program, Customer Support, Design Engineering, Production Supply Chain, Value Stream Integration, Warranty, and Boeing Global Services (BGS).
Utilize supply chain experience to remove roadblocks, drive resolution, and increase stakeholder trust and satisfaction.
Manage direct engagement with operators to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, airplane reliability and Maintenance Lifecycle Operating Cost (MLOC) through part availability.
Oversee the management and resolution of top fleet issues for the 777 program.
Engage in complex technical issues.
Execute strategies to increase velocity and reduce financial impact to Boeing and the operator.
Oversee activities related to managing Supplier issues from root cause identification, corrective action implementation through to retrofit programs.
Support Regional VPs and Program leaders using effective communication and project management best practices.
Develop executive level supply chain presentation materials for use at Program meetings, Fleet Team Conferences, Airline Executive Review Meetings (ERM) and Technical Review Meetings (TRM).
Requirements
5+ years of experience in supplier management, procurement, supply chain, negotiations, industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering
3+ years of experience demonstrating executive presence with exceptional written and oral communication skills; able to influence senior leaders, present complex technical/organizational matters clearly, and lead high-stakes discussions
Domestic and international travel as needed 20%
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
