Role Overview
Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Test and Evaluation Engineering
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Requirements
Associate’s Degree or higher, a Technical certificate or degree, or 4 or more years of equivalent technical experience
At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management training / certification
Lock Out / Tag Out / Try Out (LOTOTO) Training
High Voltage Safety Training
Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and / or Environmental Qualification Testing Experience
