Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 5 materials and welding engineers
Define objectives, drive performance and support skills development
Plan workload, prioritize activities and allocate resources
Contribute to the selection of materials appropriate for equipment
Develop and maintain material and process specifications in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., PED/DESP)
Review manufacturing methods: casting, forging, welding, fabrication, heat treatments
Analyze supplier non-conformities and deviations
Provide technical support for industrial activities and technology transfer
Collaborate with product, services, supplier quality and manufacturing teams
Interact with internal and external international teams
Participate in supplier qualification and provide technical follow-up
Capture and share lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement
Contribute to cost reduction through material rationalization
Harmonize existing specifications
Promote the company’s expertise and values
Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and nuclear safety

Engineering degree or Master’s in Materials / Metallurgy
Minimum 5 years’ experience in metallurgy (ideally with highly alloyed steels and related processes)
Strong knowledge of steel metallurgy, manufacturing processes (forging, casting, fabrication, surface treatments) and non-destructive testing
Experience in a demanding industrial environment, ideally in the nuclear sector
