Contributes to administration of utilization management
Works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems
Receives assignments in the form of goals and determines approach, resources, schedules, and goals
Provides non-clinical support for the procedures ensuring best treatment, care or services for members
Makes decisions related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area
Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department
Requirements
Prior demonstrated experience with process improvement or process design and implementation roles
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and database software proficiency
Progressive experience in the health service industry, healthcare finance or healthcare related consulting
Experience with strategic planning, customer retention programs, and primary and secondary research processes
Strategic thinking and business planning capabilities; organized and detail-oriented
Demonstrated presentation skills
Willingness to manage and prioritize diverse projects & reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
