You will take on a central specialist role within KION Group IT: you enable, manage and steer the provision of project management services and ensure that methods, governance and standards are applied consistently, efficiently and effectively.
You ensure that project management standards are applied consistently, provide methodological support to project managers in planning and control, and create transparency around progress, risks, dependencies and resources across the entire IT project portfolio.
You work closely with various IT units, project managers and stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality and reliability of our project deliveries.
In addition to regular IT project work, you actively support the Business Transformation Program — through close collaboration with the central BT PMO and by contributing to the IT Delivery Management team.
Further development, implementation and assurance of uniform PMO standards, methods and processes within the IT organization
Methodical advising and coaching of project managers on project management methods, governance, tools and compliance
Management of standardized reporting processes (e.g., time tracking, budget and forecast reports, status and management reports)
Cross-project monitoring of budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and milestones
Setup and methodological support for new IT projects (governance, planning, project logic, reporting structure, tool configuration)
Active support of IT Delivery Management as part of the KION Business Transformation, including preparation and facilitation of relevant steering committees
Ensuring and further developing PMO processes within standardized tools such as ServiceNow, CATS, MS Project Online
Structured management of project-wide communication as well as escalation management for deviations, risks and issues
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Engineering or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience
Several years of experience in a PMO/project governance role within complex project landscapes
Very good knowledge of project administration, reporting and the use of project management tools
Ability to create, monitor and adjust work, project and budget plans as required
Solid understanding of classic and agile project management methodologies
Confident handling of technical and commercial project data
Experience in IT implementation projects, particularly for standard software (e.g., SAP), ideally within international organizations
Strong competence in documentation, transparency, communication and escalation handling
Confident communication in German and English in an international environment
