Lead the technical direction and execution for Optro’s Controls Management initiatives.
Mentor, inspire, and grow a diverse team of engineers with a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence.
Manage and develop the team through hiring, retaining, mentoring, and continuously building individual and team capabilities in best practices.
Develop and nurture strong relationships with Product, QA, Delivery, Design, Customer Support, GTM, and other partners to deliver best-in-class experiences for our users.
Own the end-to-end build and delivery of Controls Management features within Optro’s platform.
Continuously improve all aspects of the product lifecycle, both technical systems and processes, to deliver outstanding results for our customers.
Work cross-functionally with other engineering teams and product lines.
Collaborate closely with Product Management to define goals, objectives, and the roadmap for Controls Management initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Iterate and improve on agile best practices to ensure clarity, transparency, and efficient delivery across your team and the organization.

Experience in performance management.
Experience in running agile teams and managing delivery processes.
5+ years of experience developing modern tech stacks (Bonus).
2+ years managing a development team, specifically in a SaaS environment (Bonus).
Modern JS Framework Experience: Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember is preferred, but Vue, React, Angular, etc. are valuable for front-end collaboration) (Bonus).
Experience in a highly regulated, ARC (Audit, Risk, and Compliance) environment (Preferred).
Managed remote or distributed teams (Preferred).
Experience in an agile development environment and with modern project management tools (Preferred).
Strong B2B experience (Preferred).
