Role Overview
- Provide machining engineering support and guidance across production
- Balance cost, velocity, quality, safety, and environmental compliance
- Identify and implement process enhancements and monitor reliability
- Drive execution of engineering and process changes that strengthen day to day manufacturing performance
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or engineering degree is required
- English proficiency for technical documentation and cross site collaboration is required
- Understanding G&M code programming, types of NC controls
- Understanding of CAM (Computer-Aided Machining)
- Knowledge of GD&T, print reading and modeling
- Discusses key considerations and issues in machining processes
- Understanding of machining processes (process design, execution and control)
- Experience with different Machining Center Controls
- Ability to support multi-shift operations and on-floor troubleshooting
- Working knowledge with Manufacturing Cells preferred
- Exposure to Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, or smart factory technologies
- Manufacturing experience within automotive, heavy equipment, or high-volume production environments
