Own daily community management across all social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook) with a focus on monitoring and responding to comments, direct messages, and user generated content
Maintain fast, thoughtful responses across social platforms while balancing humor, warmth, and brand self-awareness
Collaborate with the Influencer/Marketing team to create copy for seeding initiatives, gifting, launches, and VIP communications
Monitor and reply to comments on paid ads and support the Copy team as needed with in-asset copy and descriptions
Draft comments for owned social content and reactive communications during launch periods, as well as captions and IG Threads as needed
Track recurring community questions, feedback, and trends and proactively identify and escalate sensitive topics to necessary teams (including CX and Regulatory)
Flag potential UGC and creators to relevant Social/Influencer teams
Stay on top of platform-native behaviors, in-the-know humor, internet culture, and the conversations Starface should be a part of
Assist with various copy projects as needed, including Big Yellow character development, product launches, evergreen marketing, brainstorms, and new social platforms
Be available after hours when necessary for timely or urgent matters (including weekends)
Requirements
You have 2–3 years of experience in social media copywriting, community management, or brand writing
You have a strong understanding of the Starface voice and how the brand shows up online
You’re an excellent writer with a sharp sense of humor and strong grasp of tone, timing, and voice
You’re collaborative, flexible, and able to work quickly while maintaining good judgment
You’re optimistic, creative, and motivated by fun
Experience in comedy, improv, or satirical writing is a plus, but not required :)
