Role Overview
- Develop contract negotiation and drafting skills to close deals
- Guide SpendHound commercial teams through the lifecycle of a deal
- Learn in a rapidly changing environment by navigating new problems
- Enhance processes, efficiency, and best practices in contract management
- Collaborate with SpendHound team for contract reviews and internal processes
- Evaluate and advise on legal courses of action
Requirements
- Law degree (JD or equivalent) from a top law school
- License to practice and a member of good standing in New York
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney
- Experience drafting and negotiating business contracts preferred
- Excited about commercial contracts with legal and financial issues
- Passion for drafting, negotiating, and redlining
- Stellar attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in the unknown and handle new responsibilities independently
- Nice to have: SaaS background preferred
