Day-to-day administration and management of benefit programs, practices, and procedures focusing on retirement, time off and leave programs.
Develop level of expertise in retirement, time off and leave program design, compliance, communication requirements and administration processes including grandfathered, individual, and paper-based programs.
Monitoring key program deliverables from vendors and internal teams.
Comprehending, interpreting, and explaining summary plan descriptions and policies.
Collaborating with vendors to produce the required summary plan description (SPD) and summary benefit comparison (SBC).
Coordinating benefit communications.
Presenting benefit information to new associates and during annual enrollment in large or small groups.
Presenting to groups of current and future retirees on retirement benefit options and retirement process.
Making timely updates to online resources, HR benefit guides, and policy and procedures manuals.
Coordinating production of Total Rewards and cash balance statements with vendors.
Participating in merger and acquisition due diligence, including the evaluation of potential partners’ benefits side-by-side comparisons and integration into OhioHealth plans and policies.
Collaborating with vendors to ensure appropriate service levels and cost competitiveness.
Participating in special committees and projects while successfully completing routine, day-to-day tasks.
Developing and managing databases, analysis and reports for overall program management.
Focused program project work including financial and benefit analysis on programs and developing presentations.
Managing compliance calendar and activities for all governmental regulations related to benefit programs, including some of the following: Secure 2.0, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Collaborating and coordinating with HR business partners and Centers of Expertise.
Assist in annual retirement audits conducted by external audit partners.
Assist in governmental inquiries to OhioHealth Plans.

Associate's Degree (Required)
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
1-3 years of HR with benefit focus or related experience in benefit administration preferred, specifically in retirement and/or leave programs.
