Own and build the company’s finance function end-to-end, combining hands-on execution with strategic leadership.
Running day-to-day financial operations, developing budgets and forecasts, and translating business and R&D plans into clear financial scenarios.
Bookkeeping, financial controlling and manage accountants and proper cost booking.
Manage grant, loan and subsidy finances, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and implement scalable processes and controls.
Support fundraising by preparing financial models, data rooms, and investor materials.
Transition into a Director position once mutually concluded that it is the right next step.

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5+ years of experience in roles such as financial controlling, FP&A, transaction services, or startup finance.
Familiar with Dutch accounting standards (Dutch GAAP).
Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is highly preferred.
Familiarity with fundraising processes, grants or public funding.
A Dutch post-master qualification such as RA (Registeraccountant) or RC (Registercontroller) is a plus, but not required.
Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Familiarity with medical/diagnostic device development is a plus.
Fluent in English is a must; Dutch is a plus but not mandatory depending on experience and seniority.
