Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Hem/Onc

Role Overview

• Provide expertise not routinely available in the pharmacy staff
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees upon request
• Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services in assigned areas
• Develop policy and procedures when appropriate
• Prioritize work appropriately and accept responsibility for the work area
• Assist others when work is completed
• Work effectively with team/work groups and others to fulfill the UAMS Mission
• Adopt practices to improve work processes and enhance guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy Degree
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency OR at least 3 years of previous clinical experience in hematology/oncology
• Certification as a licensed Registered Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligibility for licensure
