Lead Snowflake Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

• Serve as the principal consultant for Snowflake best practices
• Evaluate new Snowflake features and create adoption frameworks
• Define AI-ready data patterns to accelerate AI solution delivery
• Architect scalable, secure Snowflake environments
• Design multi-account AWS integrations
• Establish performance engineering practices
• Implement data governance by design
• Lead enablement for Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities
• Create reusable AI accelerators to reduce time-to-value
• Establish CI/CD for data and AI
• Implement observability across platform and workloads
• Mentor senior engineers and run design reviews, technical guilds, and architecture councils

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in data engineering/platform engineering
• 5+ years in Snowflake
• 2+ years experience in driving AI governance, usage and implementation
• Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture
• Strong AWS expertise for data platforms
• Demonstrated experience enabling teams on Snowflake Cortex AI
• Hands-on with Amazon Bedrock Agents
• Track record defining AI governance and usage guidelines
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK)
• Expertise in CI/CD for data & AI workloads
• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills
