Design and size structural elements as part of multidisciplinary projects
Perform advanced structural analyses
Prepare, sign and approve technical reports in accordance with applicable requirements and current quality standards
Prepare and submit cost estimation reports
Collaborate with the execution team to ensure the quality of engineering work and project delivery, and provide technical support for on-site activities
Participate in the preparation of service proposals, contractual documents and bids
Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical practices and standards
Actively participate in project management as the discipline engineer
Take part in the design of structural elements within multidisciplinary projects
Perform any other related tasks associated with a structural engineering role
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in structural design
Proficiency with SAFI, ADA, Robot and/or STAAD Pro software
Excellent prioritization skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Technical rigor and strong commitment to quality standards
Leadership and ability to influence
Proactive and initiative-taking, with a strong team spirit
Proficient in French, both spoken and written; functional knowledge of English may be required to maintain regular communication with suppliers or partners whose working language is English.
