Develop a 5-year inventory strategy based on targeted service levels while optimizing service costs and inventory levels.
Translate and deploy this strategy into concrete, actionable annual plans to lead, facilitate, and coordinate implementation.
Ensure inventory data quality and drive improvements to data and BI tools.
Contribute to and challenge value chain design to ensure consistency with our tactical and strategic inventory plans.
Consolidate the overall inventory for the business line (both financial and Supply Chain views).
Define and implement tactical and operational standards for each inventory component.
Ensure alignment between operational standards, tactical standards, and inventory objectives.
Collaborate with Regional and Industry partners to analyze the relationship between service levels, inventory levels, and established objectives, then implement required actions.
Manage inventory quality (excesses and shortages) and coordinate with partners to implement appropriate corrective actions.
Monitor inactive inventory, coordinate with regions to identify root causes, and ensure preventive and corrective actions are initiated.
Requirements
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain management with demonstrated leadership progression.
Experience as a leader of leaders, capable of managing complex team environments.
Ability to work transparently across cross-functional teams and to mobilize stakeholders across the Business Line supply chain and other Michelin Group entities, especially Commercial teams.
Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand complex cross-functional issues, conduct in-depth analyses, and lead problem-solving initiatives.
High level of autonomy and proactivity to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
Strong commitment to mentoring and team development.
Customer oriented: committed to supporting colleagues and resolving issues that directly impact customer satisfaction.
Motivated to grow in an international environment and adaptable to varied cultural and professional contexts.
Proficiency in English — especially spoken and ideally written — essential for effective communication with international stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
