About this role
Role Overview
- Administration and support of Akamai WAF and Bot Manager solutions;
- Configuration, maintenance and tuning of security policies;
- Monitoring and analysis of web security incidents;
- Creation and adjustment of rules to mitigate threats and reduce false positives;
- Technical support to internal teams on application security and performance;
- Working in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
Requirements
- Experience with Akamai WAF (Kona Site Defender) and hands-on experience with Bot Manager;
- Knowledge of web application security and the OWASP Top 10;
- Experience in attack mitigation and incident analysis;
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS and networking;
- Experience with cloud environments and web infrastructure;
- Advanced English (B2/C1) for technical reading and interacting with documentation;
- Analytical, proactive profile with strong communication skills.
