Role Overview

• Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Communicate with parents and related service staff
• Develop compliant IEP’s and progress reports
• Facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings
• Collect data and work samples to monitor student progress
• Maintain communication with parents/learning coaches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Active state teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
• Experience in special education
• Knowledge of IDEA regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
• Strong written/verbal communication skills
