Support the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle
Develop flight software and tools for various spaceflight systems
Share in the team’s impact on all aspects of safety-critical real-time embedded software development
Work on vehicle avionics and ground systems
Be responsible for requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing of various software components and tools critical for New Glenn’s mission.
Requirements
B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related subject area
5+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python
2+ years of experience in embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components
Solid understanding of operating systems and network protocols fundamentals
M.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field (preferred)
Experience with real-time operating systems (preferred)
Experience with safety-critical software development in aerospace, automotive or other industries (preferred)
Experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware components and programmable logic (preferred).
