Principal Software Engineer – Oracle, PLSQL

Role Overview

• Actively contribute to the code base
• Collaborate with multi subject area team members and customers
• Translate storyboards and use cases into applications
• Lead design and implementation of software solutions
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews
• Engage in product quality plan efforts, including test case development
• Work with a global team of developers in leading standard practices for software engineering

Requirements

• Expertise writing Oracle SQL and PLSQL code
• Performing data analysis, data modelling
• Designing and implementation of data APIs
• Performance tuning
• Writing and maintaining batch jobs with ETL/Informatica and Autosys
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications
• Experience following ATDD and writing automated tests for database code
• Experience with cloud technologies (Snowflake, S3) is a bonus
• Knowledge in mid-tier technologies like Java
• Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment
