Achieves sales effectiveness by meeting or surpassing business unit revenue, referral growth, admissions, margin, and profitability goals.
Produces sales results, provides strategic and operational direction, and develops trusting relationships with physician offices, specialty referral sources, and customers.
Manages and coaches a field-based sales team to leverage relationships, drive referrals, expand new accounts, and support growth within targeted specialty markets including neurology and immunology.
Partners with key stakeholders on strategic planning, specialty growth initiatives, and implementation of operational process flows across infusion care settings.
Communicates information regarding competitors, market dynamics, referral trends, and issues affecting the business to leadership and/or team.
Develops and executes sales meetings, field coaching, ride-alongs, and training initiatives to improve sales effectiveness and territory performance.
Collaborates with peers and cross-functional partners to continuously improve programs, sales execution, and customer experience.
Travels extensively throughout assigned regions to provide in-field leadership, coaching, and relationship management support.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requirements
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the health insurance or related industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare sales experience within home infusion, specialty pharmacy, specialty biologics, or infusion services, with demonstrated success driving referral growth, admissions, and revenue performance preferred.
Experience supporting neurology, immunology, IVIG, subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG), biologics, blood products, enzyme replacement therapies, or other specialty infusion therapies preferred.
Experience selling into physician offices, specialty practices, infusion providers, ambulatory infusion centers (AICs), or alternate infusion care settings, with strong knowledge of specialty referral pathways and provider engagement strategies preferred.
Experience working for a manufacturer, specialty pharmacy, home infusion provider, or infusion services organization with responsibility for specialty market expansion, territory growth, and strategic account development preferred.
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze referral trends, admissions, revenue mix, margin performance, and competitive market activity to drive strategic sales decisions and operational improvements preferred.
Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal communication, and executive-level relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional collaboration, and drive business growth initiatives preferred.
