Accountable for the full lifecycle of products and services from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans
Assigned as the chair of the Program Management Team (PMT) accountable for managing the contract lifecycle, cost schedule, performance and on-time delivery of company programs
Serves as the face of the organization to clients and customers
Has Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a specified value stream or group of value streams within a business segment or portfolio
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading multi-disciplined teams, experience creating/pursuing leads and winning military and/or commercial contract awards
Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
PM experience for programs valued up to $25M
Experience working in the defense and/or aerospace market with U.S. Department of Defense or other Government agencies and OEMs
Demonstrated experience in leading development programs and Capture/proposals
Demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain positive customer relationships
Demonstrated understanding and proficient use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management or similar business processes
Proficient in managing multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, DCS, FMS)
Effective communication/presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to engage foreign customers and travel both domestically and internationally as required, (~25%)
