Manage the procurement team and establish effective measures of performance and metrics.
Ensure members of the team have the correct knowledge issuing POs (FAR/DFAR), accurate metrics and skills to perform assigned purchasing tasks and provide on the job training and support to address skill and knowledge gaps.
Support team members to work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to clarify, define, and refine the scope of supply, purchasing requirements, and statement of work for procurement activities.
Manage compliance with procurement process and ensure all required approvals are in place prior to purchase order release.
Engage with relevant specialists to address identified conflicts and/or risks with terms and supplier conditions that vary from standard company purchase order terms.
Support supplier engagement activities including negotiations and supplier performance management where appropriate.
Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
