About this role
Role Overview
- Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch, enhancing existing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
- Collaborate with Software/Test Engineers and Product Managers to understand project requirements and ensure automated testing aligns with business objectives;
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework for functional, integration, regression, and UI testing;
- Perform in-depth analysis and debugging of automated test failures, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience in test automation;
- Good programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript;
- Experience with Playwright;
- Strong experience with client-server architecture and REST API;
- Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases;
- Strong understanding of SDLC and best practices in the software development process (code reviews, CI/CD, etc.);
- Deep knowledge of test automation processes and approaches;
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Experience with working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application's business logic and dependencies;
- Experience with Python will be a plus;
- Creating AI agents and building a workflow will be a plus;
- English
- Upper intermediate (will be a plus).
