Provides graphic design services for all museum needs internal and external including but not limited to Exhibitions, Marketing and Communications, Development, Programming, Visitor Experience, Events, Education Programs, Interpretation, Studio, Talent and Culture, and other museum projects as assigned.
Collaborate with internal museum stakeholders to manage and design world-class museum experiences from concept to execution across exhibitions, installation, print, digital, and environmental graphics.
Research and develop exhibition and initiative identities and execute them across a variety of platforms (in-gallery graphics, signage, invitations, etc.).
Create design assets that align and elevate exhibition and initiative identities and DIA standards.
Execute designed identities across a variety of assets, ensuring a shared design language between designs for in-gallery graphics, invitation suites, signage, and other collateral.
Design and execute bespoke programs for non-exhibition events and programs.
Execute one-off institutional projects in adherence with the brand identity and design systems.
Requirements
Master's degree in graphic design, communication design, or other relevant design discipline required
Five (5) years of broad graphic design experience designing and producing environmental graphics, printed collateral, or digital for diverse audiences and applications required
Fluency in Adobe Create Suite required
Advanced proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
Must be proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Office 365.
