Finance Manager

Role Overview

• Oversee a small, high-performing team of management accountants, data analysts, and finance officers
• Deliver end-to-end management of finance activities across our Northside, Toowoomba, and Brisbane private hospitals
• Provide timely, objective advice to the CFO and QLD Executive Team on financial matters
• Manage month-end financial reporting and prepare annual budgets
• Lead the development and review of business cases and capital projects
• Identify and lead financial efficiency initiatives
• Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a high-performance culture

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, or commerce
• Membership in a professional accounting body (CA/CPA or relevant)
• Proven experience in management accounting within a large, complex organisation
• Understanding of private hospital operations and funding models
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, business case development
• Using complex financial accounting systems
• High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate
• Previous experience managing a team
